Experience the thrill of riding an ATV along unique Andean routes, exploring the majestic Abode of the Gods and the tranquil Piuray Lagoon. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes, living culture, and nature on a journey packed with adrenaline and panoramic views of Cusco.
08:00 hrs – Pick-up at your hotel in Cusco and transfer via tourist transport to our base in the Tica Tica community, on the outskirts of the city.
08:30 hrs – Arrival at the ATV base. Our professional guide will provide a safety briefing and a driving practice session to ensure a fun and safe experience.
08:45 hrs – The adventure begins! We will set off on ATVs along rural routes surrounded by mountains and fresh Andean air.
- First stop: *Morada de los Dioses* (Abode of the Gods), a collection of impressive stone-carved sculptures representing Andean deities and figures from Inca culture. Here, you will have time to explore, take photos, and learn about the site's history.
- Second stop: Piuray Lagoon, a beautiful body of water surrounded by hills and traditional villages. It is the perfect place to relax, take in nature, and enjoy unique panoramic views.
11:15 hrs – Return ride on ATVs to the base, enjoying the scenery and the fresh Andean breeze.
11:30 hrs – Transfer back to Cusco via tourist transport.
12:00 hrs – Arrival at your hotel and end of service.

NOTES:
- Documentation: Bring your ID card or passport on the day of the tour.
- Minimum driving age: 16 years old. Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and provide authorization if applicable.
- Capacity: Maximum of 2 people per ATV (depending on configuration). Please notify us in advance regarding excess weight or special requirements.
- Recommended clothing and gear: Long trousers, closed-toe shoes, a light jacket or windbreaker, sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a change of dry clothes.
- Health and restrictions: Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with heart conditions, spinal issues, or limited mobility. Please inform the guide of any medical conditions.
- Weather conditions: The activity may proceed during light rain (ponchos are provided) but may be suspended or modified due to heavy rain or unsafe conditions.
- Entrance fees and permits: Access fees for the "Morada de los Dioses" (Abode of the Gods) or protected areas are not always included.
- Responsibility and conduct: Participants must follow the guide's instructions at all times. The client is responsible for any damage caused by negligent driving.
- Insurance: Personal travel insurance is NOT included; we recommend having insurance that covers adventure activities.
- Deposits or vouchers: In some cases, a refundable damage deposit may be required (depending on the operator).

- Admission tickets: Entrance fees for the "Morada de los Dioses" (Abode of the Gods) or transit permits for communities or protected areas.
- Accommodation and meals: Hotel stays, lunches, or additional food and beverages beyond complimentary water.
- Insurance: Personal travel insurance or coverage for accidents during adventure activities.
- Deposits and contingencies: Security deposit for vehicle damage (if required by the operator) or costs arising from negligent driving.
- Tips: Optional gratuities for the guide-instructor or drivers.
- Appropriate clothing: Wear long trousers, closed-toe shoes (avoid sandals), and a windbreaker jacket. Bringing a change of dry clothes for the return trip is recommended due to potential dust or mud.
- Valid physical documentation: Bring your original ID card or passport. This is a mandatory requirement for registration prior to vehicle handover.
- UV protection: Apply sunscreen, wear a hat or cap during stops, and wear sunglasses under your helmet.
- Health conditions and age restrictions: The minimum driving age is 16 (those under 18 require an accompanying adult). This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with spinal issues, heart conditions, or limited mobility.
Do I need prior experience to ride the ATVs?
No. Before heading out on the route, the guide will provide a safety briefing and a practice session at the Tica Tica base to ensure you have mastered acceleration and braking.
Is the entrance ticket to the Abode of the Gods included?
No. The entrance fee for the Abode of the Gods is not included in the tour price and is paid directly in cash (Soles) at the site's ticket office.
Is it possible to do the activity if I travel with a companion on the same quad bike?
Yes, provided you book the double ATV option. The maximum capacity per vehicle is two people, subject to the machine's weight limits.
What happens if it rains during the excursion?
The tour may proceed in light rain (waterproof ponchos are provided). In the event of severe storms that compromise visibility or the group's safety, the guide will adjust or cancel the route.
