Experience something truly unique in the skies over Cusco: watch a beautiful sunrise and take in stunning views from a hot air balloon. This activity is perfect for anyone wishing to admire the beauty of the Andean landscape from a completely new and exciting perspective.
4:30 AM: Hotel pickup
Our team will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Cusco. We will then head to the launch site, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
5:30 AM: Arrival at the launch site
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our professional team of pilots and technicians. While watching the hot air balloon inflate, you will receive a brief safety briefing and basic instructions, and have the opportunity to take photos of the process.
6:00 AM: Hot air balloon flight
The flight lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on weather conditions. During the flight, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, snow-capped Andean peaks, Inca terraces, rivers, farmland, and traditional communities.
The pilot will share interesting facts about the area, and you are free to take videos or photos from the basket.
7:00 AM: Landing and toast
Once back on solid ground, the ground crew will welcome you for a symbolic flight baptism ceremony—an international tradition in hot air ballooning. A toast with sparkling wine or fresh fruit juice will be served.
7:30 AM: Breakfast (Picnic)
Enjoy a light outdoor breakfast featuring local products such as Andean bread, cheeses, fresh fruit, coffee, and traditional herbal teas.
8:30 AM: Return to Cusco
After breakfast, we will begin the return journey to Cusco in our private tourist vehicle. During the drive, you can rest or simply enjoy the Andean scenery.

NOTES:
- The hot air balloon flight is subject to favorable weather conditions. Passenger safety is our top priority; therefore, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled in the event of adverse weather (rain, strong winds, fog, etc.).
- In the event of a final cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, a full refund will be issued, or—at the passenger's preference—the tour may be rescheduled for another date (subject to availability).

- Accommodation: Overnight stays in the city of Cusco or the Sacred Valley.
- Additional meals: Lunches, dinners, or other expenses not included in the activity.
- Flights and airport transfers: Domestic/international airfare and arrival or departure transfers.
- Personal expenses: Optional tips for the pilot, technical staff, or driver.
- Warm, layered clothing: Since takeoff occurs at dawn (around 6:00 a.m.), the temperature in the Sacred Valley is quite cold. Wear a thick jacket, a hat, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
- Flexibility and weather tolerance: Hot air ballooning requires stable wind and visibility conditions. Please keep your schedule flexible in case the takeoff time needs to be adjusted or the flight rescheduled.
- Securing camera equipment: If you wish to take photos or videos from the basket during the flight, use straps or tethers to prevent accidental drops.
- Rest before the early start: Pick-up begins at 4:30 a.m. to take advantage of stable dawn thermal currents, so it is recommended to get to bed early the night before.
What happens if the activity is cancelled due to bad weather?
As this activity is subject to ballooning safety regulations, if weather conditions are unfavorable (rain, strong winds, or fog), we offer the option to reschedule the flight for another date or receive a full (100%) refund of the amount paid.

The flight over the Sacred Valley lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending directly on the morning wind currents.
At what time do you get back to the city of Cusco?
The return journey begins at 8:30 a.m. from the Sacred Valley, arriving at your hotel in Cusco between approximately 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., leaving the rest of the day free for you.
Are there any restrictions for this flight?
Due to aviation safety regulations, participation is not recommended for women in advanced stages of pregnancy, very young children who do not exceed the height of the basket rim (approx. 1.10 m), or individuals who have recently undergone surgery.
