This tour combines the best of Lima’s history with the richness of its coastal cuisine. Visit the city’s most iconic landmarks while tasting both traditional and avant-garde flavors at restaurants selected for their high quality.
8:30 A.M. – Hotel pickup
Your culinary guide will welcome you and provide an introduction to Lima's culinary history as we head toward the city center.
9:00 A.M. – Tour of the Historic Center
We visit the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, and the Convent of San Francisco—famous for its colonial catacombs—a UNESCO World Heritage site.
10:30 A.M. – Traditional breakfast at a quality café
Enjoy artisanal bread, fresh juice, Peruvian coffee, and Limeño specialties such as a *chicharrón* (fried pork) sandwich or a *tamal*.
11:30 A.M. – Panoramic tour of Miraflores
We pass by the seaside *Malecón* (boardwalk), Love Park (*Parque del Amor*), and Larcomar. Free time for photos and a walk.
1:00 P.M. – Lunch at a high-quality Peruvian restaurant
Enjoy a selection of iconic dishes such as ceviche, *causa limeña*, *lomo saltado* (stir-fried beef), or seafood rice. Includes a traditional drink or natural refreshment.
3:00 P.M. – Stroll through Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district
Discover streets filled with art, murals, and cafés, as well as the famous Bridge of Sighs (*Puente de los Suspiros*). Our guide will share local anecdotes and legends.
4:30 P.M. – Dessert and coffee tasting at a traditional café
Sample Limeño delicacies like *picarones* (pumpkin/sweet potato doughnuts), *suspiro a la limeña*, or *arroz zambito* (sweet rice pudding), accompanied by Peruvian coffee or a local herbal infusion.
5:30 P.M. – Pisco Sour class
Take part in a hands-on class to learn how to prepare the famous Peruvian cocktail using premium ingredients and professional techniques.
6:30 P.M. – Return to the hotel

- Layered clothing for the coast: The sea breeze along the Miraflores and Barranco boardwalks can make the air feel cooler in the afternoon. Bring a light jacket or windbreaker, as well as sunscreen and sunglasses.
- Advance notice of dietary needs or restrictions: Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any seafood allergies, lactose intolerance, or vegetarian dietary requirements so we can arrange appropriate adjustments for lunch and the tastings.

Does the tour include entry into the interiors of all the monuments in the Historic Center?
The tour includes the entrance ticket and a guided tour of the interior of the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. The Lima Cathedral and the Government Palace are viewed via panoramic commentary and external tours.
