Morning shamanic school with Q’ero shamans for self-healing in Pisac.
The Inca Shamanic School, developed in collaboration with shamans from the Q’ero community, offers a learning experience based on ancestral Andean techniques applied to meditation, healing, and personal growth. Its goal is to integrate Inca shamanic wisdom with contemporary practices to foster self-healing, personal transformation, and spiritual expansion, grounded in the principle of *Munay* (love). Activities take place in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the surrounding area, generally from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, leaving the afternoons free for participants. Those wishing to attend must arrange their own accommodation in the town of Pisac, where they will find a variety of lodging, dining, and local natural products.

- Personal expenses: Optional tips for the shaman, interpreter, or driver.
- Prior acclimatization: Since nature walks and ceremonies take place at altitudes above 3,400 meters (approx. 11,150 feet), take it easy during outdoor activities and stay well-hydrated.
- Layered clothing and suitable footwear: Bring comfortable clothing in neutral or light colors for rituals, heavy thermal layers for cold mornings and evenings, and hiking shoes with good traction.
- Experience journal: It is recommended to bring a personal notebook to record symbols, visions, and reflections that arise following the Karpay initiation and daily sessions.
- Digital disconnection: Minimize the use of mobile devices during ceremonies to maintain focus and connection with the natural surroundings.
Does the program include accommodation and meals for the 7 days?
No. This package covers the ceremonies, private transfers, and daily guiding. Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and meals.
Is prior experience in Andean spirituality required to undergo this initiation?
No. The program is designed to suit both those encountering the Andean worldview for the first time and therapists or holistic practitioners seeking to deepen their spiritual path.
Do the ceremonies involve the ingestion of any medicine or power plant?
No. It is a journey of energetic initiation and healing involving nature, prayers, meditations, ancestral music, and traditional rituals, without the consumption of psychoactive plants.
What does the "Karpay" of Day 2 consist of?
The Karpay is the ancestral Andean ritual for the transmission of power and spiritual lineage. It symbolizes the blossoming of personal energy and the initiate's formal connection to Pachamama and the sacred mountains (Apus).
